Dine here last night, we were seated right away.

The waitress was very friendly and suggested some of their special menu and her favorite cold sake which we ordered and it was really tasty.

Chef came and said hello to us, which was pretty cool

Loved the atmosphere, food was delicious and the staff are very customer oriented!!

This is now my new favorite Japanese restaurant in Fremont.. cone check them out!!

I came here on a Saturday for dinner with my family of 6. The place looked nice and it wasn't busy, or at least in my opinion it wasn't. The menu is pretty simple where I don't have to spend 20 minutes looking for what I want.

Some of us ordered bento boxes, some of us ordered sushi and I ordered the grilled squid.

We had a male waiter, and I don't know what was up with him but he was really rude. When he came to our table to acknowledge us, he would reply back with "mm." Then he tried blaming another waiter when we would ask where our orders were saying "Oh she hasn't given it to you?" Like dude, we know you weren't listening.

Anyways, when we got our food, everything tasted pretty good. It wasn't great. It was just good. the grilled squid was a bit burnt where I could only enjoy a couple slices. The salmon terriyaki was pretty good. The sushi was alright. I felt like they overcompensated with rice for the lack of fish/filling that was in the sushi. The sashimi didn't taste "fresh." I think the best thing on the menu was the miso soup.

We ordered this one spicy deep fried sushi (forgot the name), but it was pretty spicy. Our waters were empty. We tried to flag down our waiter guy, but it seemed like he purposely tried to ignore us. You know how I could tell? When we finally flagged him down and asked for a refill of waters, he said "mm." Then about 2 minutes later, we saw him walking with a jug of water and re-filled the waters at the table behind us then walked away. We had to flag him down again and he tried blaming another waiter for water not coming out way.

We had a pretty bad experience here. Food here is kind of pricey and we didn't mind paying for it if the waiter wasn't so rude. We would understand if it was busy, but it wasn't. I wouldn't come here again.

Ok before I get to this review started let' me share a quick recap  i was looking at my review history and I noticed I had been to the sushi place in 2015 and I thought hey why not try it again I mean why not I gave it four stars back than. and let me tell you I was not disappointed with this sushi spot because it was so good. Honestly I don't understand how it's taking me for years to come back to the spot. Although it may look small it is a super cute restaurant, the waiters are super attentive, they got tons of options and they even have happy hour and by happy hour I mean a pitcher of beer for nine dollars now that's what I'm talking about.

Their menu consist of a special dinner menu and they have their regular menu which has a ton of options to choose from, from sushi rolls to Ramen To Japanese Fried chicken to Salads and soups, the list goes on.

The three sushi rolls that i tried was the flaming dragon which I have tried in 2015 which was amazing but an even cooler experience watching them light up the flames on the table. the second row I got was a honey crunch which Had mango slices and roasted walnuts on top which was my favorite! the third was the hidden hamachi which had salmon on top I believe yellowtail in the middle and jalapeño slices. The hidden Hamachi was pretty interesting because the slices of jalapeño brought in the hit but to your surprise as you chew it you get a taste of mint which instantly cools your mouth which I thought was pretty cool combo but not my cup of tea

All in all I'm definitely not waiting 4 years to come back and eat here haha! But as always def gotta try it for yourself because we all got different taste buds

The Sunshine roll is everything! It's my favorite roll in Fremont. This is my go to for so many reasons. It's open all day, they do not close at lunch. I've ordered a lot of different items and they have all been really good. They remodeled and I'm surprised they're not as busy. It's good to bring large parties as they can move tables. They also have booths for a date night. Wed. & Sun. Is Happy Hour from 4pm-close which I believe is 9:30pm. They also have $0.99 Sake on Tues. & Thurs. I've never had a complaint here.

I was really excited to come here. The pictures of the food looked good and every other review was ranting and raving over the Flaming Rainbow Roll so I wanted to give it a shot.

We started off with the chicken karaage which didn't look very appealing but it tasted pretty good. It looked bland and didn't have any color to it. The dipping sauce really helped.

For our sushi rolls we got the Flaming Rainbow, Honey Crunch and the Hidden Hamachi. The Honey Crunch was my favorite by far! I loved the sweetness of the mango and the crispness of the walnuts. The Hidden Hamachi was okay, I think the addition of the mint on top took away from the other flavors in this roll.. and as for the Flaming Rainbow Roll, this one failed miserable for me unfortunately. The fire show was pretty awesome but I expected my Roll to be somewhat warm to hot after peeling back the foil once the flames went out. The tuna inside was still dead cold while the salmon on top was semi warm, it just didn't go together well.

I'm sure they have other rolls that would appeal to me more but I was left disappointed with what we ordered.
